I started designing these tools to make my life easier as a knife maker. Over the last decade of knife making, I’ve run into many problems that I wish I had an easy fix. Now I’m making these tools available to make your life easier as well!

I hate hand sanding so anything to make that process easier is a win to me. I designed this sanding stick to help save my hands. A wide handle with nicely curved edges to prevent “Hot spots” and blisters. A revolutionary clamping design that prevents burning fingers from holding sand paper. Holds up to a 30mm wide strip of sand paper. Perfect for 1” shop rolls. Comes in flat or with many different curved options to match your needs.
Small Diameter bundle comes with 2”, 4”, 6”, and 8” diameter attachments

A much needed accessory to go with your Hintze Custom Sanding Stick. This tool cuts perfectly sized strips of sand paper from wider rolls. Comes with a hardened S2 steel blade. I recommend buying these higher quality utility blades for your refills as they will hold up against abrasives longer.
PLEASE NOTE: I try to have these in stock and ready to ship but it is a multi day process to make more of these so there may be slight delays in shipping.
These attachments for the sanding stick are made from 95A durometer TPU. The slightly softer material is great for when you want softer transition lines. They are also great for contoured shapes and can give you a better overall final surface finish.

I bought the full kit, mostly only needing the flat and the 12” but figured I’d get the full kit in case I need other radius later. I’m quite pleased with it. I thought the very small lines from the print may come thru in my scratch pattern but they did not. I would totally recommend this to any knife maker. For the price you will not beat this hand sanding tool. I have my own sanding sticks and blocks, I have the TR Maker sanding block, this works great. Having all different radius options makes this a no brainer. Probably could charge more and still be well worth it.
